About Me

For me, every therapy is a shared journey of exploration.

Lara Pickener

I accompany you on equal footing – you determine the pace and direction. My task is to create space: a space to slow down, to feel, to try things out. A space where everything is allowed.

I don't believe in broken people. I believe that everything in you has become the way it is for good reasons. Together we look for those reasons – and for new possibilities.

In doing so we use the wisdom of your body, bring your social environment in, and never lose sight of the larger context. Queer-feminist perspectives are a natural part of this work for me.

The goal is not to change you. But to help you reconnect with your own vitality.

Beyond the practice I am always in motion, I love to feel my body. Human relationships captivate me with great passion, both personally and professionally. How we connect, how we can shape connection, how genuine belonging arises. These are the questions that move me. And the desire to make a difference, in my immediate surroundings and beyond.
